Q: How do I make new bookings?
A: All NEW reservations and group bookings should be made via Funjet Vacations on the award-winning VAX VacationAccess platform at FunjetAgent.com.

Q: If I want to learn more about booking with Funjet, where do I go?
A: If you are not familiar with VAX, click here to learn about the VAX platform technology innovation and opportunities. Also, follow Funjet Agent on Facebook as we’ll be posting webinars and other education opportunities as we host them in the upcoming weeks there as well.

Q: How do I make changes to any existing bookings or add new guests to existing groups?
A: All FIT and Group Together bookings with travel beginning 6/1/17 onward have been migrated from the EGT to the FJ system – VAX VacationAccess which can be accessed at www.funjetagent.com.  Existing traditional EGT groups will remain in the EGT system at the current time.  You should continue to make modifications to existing contacted group reservations as well as new “child bookings” at www.exclusivegrouptravel.com  until further notice.
  • You will now be able to access these migrated reservations at FunjetAgent.com to view, apply payments, issue travel documents or cancel.  Credit card data has not been migrated to the FJ system.  Credit card information will need to be provided for future payments.  
  • Special requests noted in the EGT system prior to the beginning of the system migration have been reported to the hotels.    All special requests have also been migrated to the FJ system, however, will not display on travel itineraries.  Also, seat assignments will not display on the new reservations, but are still holding with the airline(s).  You can always display your seat assignments on the airline website using the airline confirmation number (PNR) included in your new Travel Itinerary.
  • New reservation numbers have been automatically reported to each of the hotels.  There is no need for you to contact a hotel, airline or any other supplier directly to re-confirm.
  • Updated travel itineraries will be sent to you today for bookings paid in full.  All other reservations can be reviewed by accessing the new Funjet reservations number in www.funjetagent.com

Q: I'm not that familiar with Mark Travel as a whole, how do I learn more?
A: Sign up for a webinar here - they'll take you through all the ins and outs and give you a better idea of the company. Keep checking back - we'll keep scheduling more to make sure you feel comfortable!

Q: Is my commission changing?
A: The Funjet Vacations commission schedule will apply for all new bookings made in VAX, which pays base commission of up to 15% on International/Hawaii vacations. Beyond that, we have a host of tools and programs to maximize your earning potential, including our industry-leading Bonus Cash program and 2% bonus commission on upgraded room categories. Please contact your Business Development Manager for further discussion on increasing your profitability with Funjet Vacations.

Q: Will I still be receiving paper travel documents?
A: All reservations that were paid in full prior to April 10, and requested as such, were sent paper documents. Going forward, all EGT reservations, as they are paid in full, will receive electronic documents only. These electronic documents will allow for greater flexibility in sharing documents with your customers and ensuring you’re always providing the most up-to-date information as items change as well.

Q: What Travel Protection Options are available?
A: All bookings made in the Funjet Vacations system will be offered the current Funjet Vacations Travel Protection options. Any groups transitioned to the Funjet Vacations systems will also be offered the Funjet Vacations Travel Protection options. For groups that remain in the EGT system, the EGT Travel Protection no longer exists for additional passengers. The interim Travel Protection product is available.

The new coverage is called Other International Travel Protection Plan w/ cancel for any reason upgrade. It allows cancellation of a vacation package for a covered reason and receipt of 100% of non-refundable penalties (less the cost of travel protection). Cancellation for a reason not covered under the plan will result in receipt of 75% of non-refundable penalties (less the cost of travel protection). The package also includes During Travel protection and costs $209.99 per person with 10% commission.

 Q: If a booking was previously made in the EGT system will the travel protection booked remain in place?
A: Yes the policy purchased remains on any bookings previously made in the EGT system.

Q:  If a modification is made to my reservation made in the EGT system will my travel protection change?
A:  If the modification can be made without cancelling the reservation the policy remains. If the modification requires a cancel and rebook, the new travel protection option will be available.

Q:  If I need help with my reservation where do I go?
A:  The previous EGT current call center, groups department and customer service teams will remain at your service throughout the transition.

Q: Is EGT as a Company going away? Will EGT now be a Funjet Vacations brand?
A:  The EGT brand will now operate as a part of Funjet Vacations and will enhance options for travel agents when booking group vacations. We are happy to welcome EGT travel agents to the Mark Travel family.

Q: If I need help with my reservation where do I go?
A: Your current call center, groups department and customer service teams will remain at your service throughout the transition.

Q: Is EGT as a Company going away?  Will EGT now be a Funjet Vacations brand? 
A: The EGT brand will now operate as a part of Funjet Vacations and will enhance options for travel agents when booking group vacations. We are happy to welcome EGT travel agents to the Mark Travel family.

Q: Will I have the same BDM?
A: EGT’s business development team will be transitioning service to Mark Travel’s nationwide team, but there will be no lapse in your level of service and support. If you have questions during this process, please contact your current Mark Travel Corporation Business Development manager here or email our TMTC inside sales support directly at SalesSupport@marktravel.com.

Q: What is happening to the EGT office?
A: The EGT office will remain open, and Funjet Vacations will gain additional expertise and resources in call center and groups support which will operate out of our new New York-based office.

Q: Who will be the ground operator(DMC)for my client’s upcoming trip?
A: We are pleased to advise that effective for previous EGT bookings made and traveling beginning 6/1/17; your clients will now enjoy DMC services as follows: As part of our ongoing integration, we are pleased to advise that effective for previous EGT bookings made and traveling beginning 6/1/17; your clients will now be serviced by the following Ground Operators (DMC’s). Click each link to download a PDF description to send to your clients including in-destination contact information as well as details on locating the DMC upon arrival for those bookings with transfers already included in their package:
