Hilton’s Newest Lifestyle Brand Debuts in Times Square This Summer

Winter, spring, summer and fall – there’s always a good reason to visit New York City at any time of the year. As the destination continues to rebound and hotels make their way back to pre-pandemic levels, Hilton is gearing up to introduce a new place to stay right in Time Square.

The hotel company will welcome the first property in its new lifestyle brand this August: Tempo by Hilton Times Square. With an unbeatable location in TSX Broadway, the 661-room hotel will offer more than 30 rooms that have premium views of the Times Square ball and an overall atmosphere ideal for modern travelers.

“As our newest brand, Tempo by Hilton is designed to create an elevated and innovative stay, with thoughtfully appointed rooms that offer comfort and functionality plus an emphasis on well-being,” said Matt Schuyler, chief brand officer, Hilton. “Tempo by Hilton Times Square will set the stage for a new standard of hospitality in Times Square, for today’s discerning traveler.”

Whether travelers are looking for a place to work remotely for a while or a home base for their long weekend extravaganza in NYC, Tempo by Hilton Times Square fits the bill. Those interested in conveniently staying on top of their fitness regimen can choose one of the six rooms dedicated to wellness. They feature a peloton bike, yoga mat and Therabody products.

All the guestrooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows, spacious bathrooms and a Get Ready Zone – a well-lit space that can be used as a spot to get work done or to get ready for an evening out on the town. Although there is an option to turn it brighter or off, lighting automatically turns on when entering the rooms and dims come sunset.

In addition to being steps away from several restaurants, bars and activities, the hotel also has a signature restaurant called Highball. The restaurant offers breakfast and lunch during the day and transitions into a swanky cocktail lounge with a wrap-around outdoor terrace in the evenings.

“With the city’s continued development boom, it was the perfect time to introduce our newest lifestyle brand and Tempo by Hilton’s first hotel to the world’s most dynamic destination,” said Danny Hughes, executive vice president and president, Americas, Hilton. “Tempo by Hilton Times Square will channel the energy of Manhattan and complement all that TSX Broadway and the Big Apple have to offer.”
