What To Know About Inclusive Collection’s Secrets Impression Concept

The hotels and resorts once known as AMR Collection are now fully integrated into the Inclusive Collection, part of World of Hyatt. These all-inclusive properties range in offerings, from family-friendly fun and group getaways to adults-only relaxation and romantic retreats. There’s really a place for every type of traveler and all of life’s moments.

While Secrets Resorts & Spas properties have always been known for their Unlimited-Luxury® inclusions and all adult romance, a new elevated level of all-inclusive luxury within this brand is allowing guests to take it up a notch: Secrets Impression Resorts & Spas.

But where does this new concept fit into the Inclusive Collection? Which type of traveler is it suitable for? Can travel advisors expect to see more of these resorts in the future? The Compass recently spoke with Erica Doyne, senior vice president of global marketing & communications, Inclusive Collection, to answer all these questions and more.

According to Doyne, Secrets Resorts & Spas will continue to offer the unparalleled service it’s always offered, with spacious accommodations, beautiful balcony views, best-in-class service and more. However, Secrets Impression Resorts & Spas is here to elevate this experience with Endless Privileges® and also by putting a high importance on relaxation and culture as well as thoughtful entertainment.

“Seeing a gap within the ultra-luxury all-inclusive segment, the concept was thoughtfully developed with the most discerning traveler in mind,” said Doyne. “The experience delivers the same romantic, adults-only, all-inclusive escapes in luxurious beachfront locations that guests have come to expect from the Secrets brand, but with a heightened, personalized experience offering the highest level of luxury all-inclusive.”

This includes having a highly trained butler assigned to each guest and even the option to arrive by private yacht or private jet to some destinations.

Endless Privileges® and Upscale Accommodations

Guests visiting a Secrets Impression resort will surely be seeking out what amenities set these properties apart from others in the portfolio, and it won’t take them long to notice the enhancements. They’ll see it in the accommodations, the added level of service through butlers and in the cuisine.

“Providing guests with a private, thoughtfully curated experience is at the core of the Secrets Impression experience and begins upon arrival,” said Doyne. “Guests are welcomed by their butler to begin the check-in process in the comfort of their suite, where the customization process begins and includes thoughtfully crafted cuisine, premium alcohol and an in-room wine fridge stocked to personal preference.”

The flagship Secrets Impression Moxché offers a variety of room categories for guests to choose from, some of which include Master Suite Ocean Front, Panoramic Suite Ocean Front and Presidential Beachfront Villa, but all guests experience the same elevated level of service during their stay.

“When developing the Secrets Impression concept, we intentionally did not include a club level concept as the entire experience from arrival to departure is consistent regardless of category,” Doyne said. “The experience merges Preferred Club standards with the Endless Privileges® concept providing guests with the utmost in elevated luxury including a bottle of sparkling wine at check-in, additional maid services, no-check-in or checkout times, upgraded bath amenities and more.”

Gourmet Culinary Delights

In addition to Endless Privileges® and private accommodations, the Secrets Impression concept reveals an elevated level of gourmet culinary delights. “For example, the female-led culinary team at Secrets Impression Moxché, expertly fuse local, organic ingredients with contemporary techniques at each of the property’s three restaurants,” said Doyne, adding that guests can also enjoy 11 additional restaurants at the next-door Secrets Moxché.

When visiting Secrets Impression Moxché, vacationers’ tastebuds are in the good hands of Executive Chef Mario Blanco, who has worked with Inclusive Collection for 14 years. Coming from a family of farmers who prioritized quality ingredients, Blanco’s inspiration to be a chef started at a young age, and the motivation continued throughout his time spent working in one of the most important gastronomic regions of Italy.

“Sophisticated palates seeking intimate culinary experiences may indulge in Secrets Impression Moxché’s signature chef-driven concept, Teodoro, which features a seven-course dinner accompanied by wine pairings and concluded with an after-dinner aperitif under the stars,” said Doyne.

Other eateries include Dos Almas for authentic Mexican cuisine; Ember, an open fire grill and smoke house; and Seasoul for fresh seafood.

Location and Clientele

Currently, the Secrets Impression resorts are located in Mexico. Secrets Impression Moxché paved the way for this new concept with its opening at the end of 2022, and Secrets Impression Isla Mujeres is slated to open this year in May.

“Luxury all-inclusive travel has proven to be incredibly resilient and continues to be in high demand,” said Doyne. “This has been solidified by the feedback from travel advisors and how they have welcomed the Secrets Impression concept, to date. We are confident this trend is here to stay and will continue to source growth opportunities in the future.”

As far as who is a good fit for visiting these properties, travel advisors can present the new resorts to their clients looking for an elevated level of luxury and those who have enjoyed staying with Secrets Resorts & Spas in the past.
