Four of the reopened resorts are in the Riviera Maya:

  • Palafitos Overwater Bungalows

  • Generations Riviera Maya

The fifth resort to reopen was Holiday Villages Montenegro, on the shores of the Adriatic Sea.

Seven more resorts will follow by reopening on July 1:

  • El Dorado Royale in Riviera Maya
  • El Dorado Casitas Royale in Riviera Maya
  • El Dorado Seaside in Riviera Maya
  • Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Cancun in Riviera Maya
  • Azul Beach Riviera Cancun in Riviera Maya
  • Azul Beach Negril in Negril
  • El Cielo Winery & Resort in Baja California

Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana will reopen July 15 and Allure Chocolate in Cartagena, Colombia will reopen August 1.

Throughout its properties, Karisma has implemented their new Peace of Mind program, which focuses on six main areas of health and safety. In addition to these enhanced sanitation protocols, Karisma’s resorts will also have a dedicated Quality Manager on-property to work hand-in-hand with Cristal International Standards, an organization that ensures that staff at hotels and resorts are cleaning to the highest international standards.
