A New Year Message from Ron Jacobs, President of Funjet Vacations

Greetings and happy New Year, travel advisors!

Funjet Vacations Email

We hope you had a wonderful holiday season and that 2020 is off to a great start. This year, I was able to spend time in Jamaica over the holidays. My family and I participated in a giving event at a local orphanage, where we were able to meet many deserving children and help them in their time of need. It was a great way to get into the spirit of giving—and now I’m excited to show you some of the exciting things Funjet is giving our amazing travel advisors this year!

One project we’re very excited to show you is our new Funjet Themed Experiences series. Over the course of 2020, we will release three new books, each with a different theme—there will be a book dedicated to romance travel, family vacations, and adventure seekers. The first (aptly named LOV by Funjet) will arrive in February, and will showcase everything customers want to know about honeymoons, destination weddings, adults-only getaways, and more. They’ll find information about all of Funjet’s programs, excursions from Amstar, and the value of choosing a travel agent. These books are the perfect way to inspire your clients this season, and are very helpful for planning a one-of-a-kind getaway. Keep an eye out for these themed books—once you see it, you’ll want to grab one for your favorite couple.

Another way you can brush up your skills for peak is by visiting our Primed for Peak page. This time of year can be chaotic, so this page will hold all of the information about our latest technology enhancements and service level updates to help you keep up. Plus, you’ll find great resources like webinars and booking hacks to make your job easier during the crazy days!

You put in a ton of work—not only during peak season, but all year round! Pay yourself back by earning rewards through our WAVES™ program. Every time you book with Funjet, you’ll earn rewards points that you can use towards hotel stays, Exclusive Nonstop Vacation Flight Seats, or even convert to cash on a Virtual Visa® card! Plus, in January you’ll earn an extra 1,000 WAVES™ points on all Funjet bookings.^ Start earning now, and give yourself a boost toward something special.

We are so thrilled to be starting another year off with so many great things in store. We wish you the best of luck this season and will be here every step of the way to guide you through the busy months. From all of us at Funjet Vacations , have a wonderful 2020! Sincerely,

Ron Jacobs Signature
