Hotel Xcaret Mexico and Xcaret Park Are Now Open

Hotel Xcaret Mexico and Xcaret Park opened their doors to visitors once again on June 15, 2020. The reopening of these two Cancun icons comes with new measures to ensure heightened health and safety at both the resort and the park. Those measures are part of the 360° Xafety business model, which focuses on four main pillars:

  1.  Health and care processes: Disinfection
  2. Carrying capacity and seating: Distancing
  3. Control measures: People centered
  4. Quality and hygiene processes: Food and beverage

Find more details on each pillar in Grupo Xcaret’s comprehensive manual.

Upon arrival at Hotel Xcaret Mexico and Xcaret Park, travelers can expect a limited capacity of 50% occupancy, touchless temperature checks, assisted buffet service instead of self-serve, limited capacity at restaurants and more. The use of masks will be strongly suggested to all park visitors and hotel guests.

Grupo Xcaret is a leader in sustainable tourism in the Mexican Caribbean and operates five parks in addition to Xcaret Park: Xel-Há, Xplor, Xoxomilco, Xenses and Tour Xenotes Oasis Maya in addition to Archaeological Tours to Chichén Itzá, Tulum and Cobá. Operations of their other parks and tours will gradually restart on July 1, 2020.
