MSC Cruises Share Details of New Cirque du Soleil at Sea Shows

MSC Cruises recently released details of their two brand-new Cirque du Soleil at Sea shows, which includes details on the Carousel Lounge, a specially designed venue with a 360-degree stage, state-of-the-art LED light technology and a 6.5-foot lift to raise the performance above the stage floor.

The two shows, COSMOS and EXENTRICKS, are coming exclusively to MSC Grandiosa. “COSMOS – Journey to the unbelievable” follows an astronaut on a voyage across the galaxy on a quest for self-discovery. “EXENTRICKS – Expect the unexpected” is inspired by the circus arts and features big, colorful characters inspired by pop-culture fashion.

“When we set out to work with Cirque du Soleil, our objective with this exclusive partnership was to take our onboard entertainment to yet another level and to deliver to our guests even more best-in-class entertainment,” said Andrea Gangale, Senior Vice President Product Development & Guest Experience, MSC Cruises. “As the delivery of the third MSC Cruises ship featuring Cirque du Soleil at Sea approaches, each new show that we launch is ever more unique and original, giving our guests a breathtaking and memorable entertainment experience.”

The two new shows are launching on MSC Grandiosa in November, with plans to add the two shows to MSC Virtuosa when that ship launches in October 2020.
