Apple Vacations is expanding domestically and overseas, further supporting their “sun and fun” product offerings as a brand. Later this year, Apple plans to offer new domestic packages for agents when booking travel to Florida, California, and Las Vegas, with additional focus on new international product in the South Pacific, Belize and European beach destinations.
“It’s going to be an exciting season for us,” said John Tarkowski, president of Apple Vacations. “We are sticking with what we are known for, sun and fun.” Agents are now able to book packages for their customers on VAX VacationAccess (VAX), the award winning leisure travel marketplace and technology provider for Apple Leisure Group Vacations (ALGV). Apple anticipates that the new product will be made available in the coming weeks.
Jacqueline Marks, executive vice president of ALGV, cited additional investments in people, call center and groups support, and also in technology, including new features added to VAX. “Many of the features that are familiar to Apple Vacations advisors from legacy 4.0 technology will be added to VAX, making it even more efficient and effective for Apple travel advisors,” Marks said in a statement to the press. “We’ve been listening and we are all very excited about 2020,” said Marks.
“Agents can also expect new product offerings in the exotic Caribbean,” said Tarkowski. The new destinations include Exuma, Anguilla, Grenada and Dominica. “More destinations mean more opportunity for travel advisors. We are committed to our travel advisor partners.”
