You do not need a full 12 hour day, an expensive ring light or a fancy camera to create a piece of video content for social media that actually works. Some of the best performing content advisors post is filmed in the time it takes to make a cup of coffee. The barrier is not time. It is not knowing what to say when the camera turns on. That is the part we are working towards fixing today.

Why Quick Content Still Works

There is a myth that good content takes hours to plan and produce. It does not. What makes a video work is not production value. It is whether it gives your ideal client a reason to stop scrolling, and that reason is almost always a clear point made with confidence, not a fancy edit.

Short, simple videos also do something longer content cannot. They are easy to repeat. If a 30 second video idea works once, you can film a version of it every single week with a different topic, which is exactly what builds a consistent presence instead of a one time 10 minute post that gets forgotten and takes forever to replicate.

Here are five video ideas you can film in under 10 minutes, with no script needed (unless it helps) and no perfect, expensive setup required.

  1. The 'One Thing I Always Tell Clients' Video

Pick one piece of advice you find yourself repeating to almost every client, something like "always buy travel insurance for this type of trip" or "never book this room category without asking me first." Say it straight to the camera in one or two sentences, then explain why in 15 to 20 seconds. My best advice? Pretend you’re talking to a friend, make a cup of coffee as you do it and don’t overthink it. This works because it is something only you would know to say, and it positions you as the expert without you ever having to say the word expert.

  1. The 'Myth vs Reality' Video

Think of a common misconception clients bring to you, like "all-inclusive means literally everything is included" or "booking directly with the resort is cheaper than using an advisor." Say the myth, pause, then give the reality. Again, pretend you’re talking to a friend, make a cup of coffee as you do it and don’t overthink it. This format is fast to film because the structure is already built for you. It also tends to get saved and shared because it feels useful, not promotional.

  1. The 'Would I Book This Again' Video

If you have personally stayed somewhere, whether from a FAM, a personal trip or a past client experience, give a quick honest take. Would you book it again, who is it actually good for, and what would you tell someone before they go. This does not need to be polished. A little bit of "here is what I really think" honesty is what makes people trust your opinion over a resort's own marketing. And you probably know what I’m about to say ... pretend you’re talking to a friend, make a cup of coffee as you do it and don’t overthink it.

  1. The 'Client Question, Answered' Video

Every week you get asked something in a DM, a call or an email. Instead of only answering it privately, turn it into content. Say the question out loud, then answer it the way you would for a client. This is one of the easiest ideas to never run out of, because your inbox is already writing your content calendar for you!

  1. The 'Quick Room or Resort Walkthrough' Video

Next time you are anywhere travel related, even a local hotel, take 30 to 60 seconds and walk through one specific detail. Not a full tour, just one thing, like the view from a specific room category, the walk from the lobby to the beach or what the included breakfast actually looks like. Specific beats general every time. "Here is exactly what a [room category] room looks like at [resort]" will always outperform a 10 minute "check out this resort" post.

You Do Not Need More Time, You Need a Starting Point

The advisors who post consistently are not the ones with the most free time. They are the ones who stopped waiting for the perfect idea and started filming the ones sitting right in front of them. Pick one of these five, film it this week and see how it feels. Then do it again next week. That repetition is what turns a single video into a recognizable presence.

I can’t wait to see what you create!
