Celebrity Xcel, the fifth ship to join Celebrity Cruises’ ongoing Edge Series, is here, and with culinary, entertainment and design experiences chosen and created with help from travelers across the globe through the brand’s Xcel Dream Makers program, it promises to provide an onboard experience cruise-goers will love.

Dedicated to helping guests find endless ways to “restore and explore,” a sailing aboard Celebrity Xcel will allow travelers to do just that thanks to the ship’s wide variety of exciting offerings designed to “erase the line between ship and shore.” Take for example The Bazaar, Xcel’s three-story space that blends sailors’ onboard and in-port experiences in an elevated and authentic way via food, activities and live entertainment. Similarly, Bora, the ship’s rooftop restaurant, is another unique space that seamlessly transitions from day to night thanks to its panoramic ocean views, vibrant setting and mouthwatering food and beverage offerings.

As far as restoration goes, Celebrity Xcel guests will find R&R comes easy when they visit Celebrity Pool Club, the ship’s all-day, all-night poolside spot where travelers can truly let every care drift away when they take advantage of the club’s “pool valet” which offers chilled towels, card games, sunscreen and storage for personal items. Of course, The Spa is the ultimate venue to unwind, and travelers will be pleased to learn Celebrity Xcel's wellness center features Celebrity’s first-ever Hydra Room, a water-focused wellness experience focused on rejuvenating the body and mind. Another feel good highlight at The Spa is the space’s outdoor Vitamin D Deck where travelers can enjoy sweeping views from the front of the ship where refreshing ocean breezes and complimentary non-alcoholic beverages act as the perfect addition to soaking up some sunshine.

When it comes to entertainment, Attic at The Club, the ship’s 24/7 adult-oriented games lounge, has something exciting around every corner with retro games — think Pac-Man, NBA Showtime, Golden Tee and more — pool, darts, foosball, shuffleboard and more. Or, for something a little more laid back, there’s Celebrity Flagship, the cruise line’s first-ever store fully dedicated to the brand. Part museum, part interactive retail experience, here sailors can celebrate anything and everything Celebrity with interactive trivia games, historical artifacts and vintage collectables to discover. Of course, a variety of Celebrity-themed merchandise is available for purchase, and some customizable goods can even be engraved, embroidered or printed.
Celebrity Xcel kicked off her inaugural season with sailings from Fort Lauderdale, offering seven-night itineraries alternating between The Bahamas, Mexico, Cayman Islands, Puerto Plata, St. Thomas and St. Marteen. This summer, Celebrity Xcel will head to the Mediterranean to begin her inaugural European season with seven-to 11-night journeys out of Barcelona and Athens, including brand-new overnight stays in Madeira, Portugal.
