Business travel is back! As you may have read previously, I recently traveled to the Mexico for the Romance Travel Forum. This was my first in-person event since March of 2020 and I must say it was so many feelings all jumbled up into one anxious mind and body! But maybe that is all for another buzz.

This was my first time attending the Romance Travel Forum and it was a great experience. I feel very lucky to have met such an excellent group of vetted advisors who were eager to meet with suppliers to learn more about how we can help them grow their business. I had 48, ten-minute one-on-one meetings with travel advisors to learn and share how VAX can be one of their best friends in succeeding in their business. I shared much about our romance content (which you can learn more about from For the Love of Romance), a lot of great information about the value of The Compass (learn more from For the Luck of The Compass) and for some of the newer agents how to learn more about using VAX (learn more from Training You Have Time For). We also handed out the latest printed copy of The Compass Magazine which advisors were raving over the quality and content titles they saw at a quick glance. Overwhelmingly, they were excited to dig in on their plane ride home. Learn more about The Compass Magazine here and how to request a subscription.

The event also had wonderful networking and engagement opportunities with a welcome event right at the Hard Rock Riviera Maya resort (who hosted the event), and an evening FAM and dinner night at UNICO 20°87° Riviera Maya which included amazing food and a Roaring Twenties night to close out the event. So many great advisors, new connections and the satisfaction of smiles, hugs and face-to-face time with the industry I love! I can’t wait for the next event!
