W Punta Cana, Adult All-Inclusive, is officially open, marking a huge milestone for W Hotels as the property represents the brand’s first-ever adult all-inclusive location worldwide. Part of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of 30+ extraordinary hotel brands, the new resort is expected to set a new standard in luxury lifestyle hospitality in the Dominican Republic, with its 340 modern guest rooms and suites; meticulously curated landscaping; 12 distinct restaurants, bars and lounges; a 1,312-foot beachfront and more.

“W Punta Cana marks a bold and exciting evolution for W Hotels as the brand enters the all-inclusive space with the same tuned-in spirit and magnetic energy that defines the brand. This isn’t just another resort – it’s the brand reimagining the concept entirely, where everything from elevated dining to immersive experiences reserved for adults only are thoughtfully curated and included,” said George Fleck, senior vice president and brand leader of W Hotels. “Set against the stunning natural backdrop of Punta Cana’s pristine beaches and lush landscape, this destination is the perfect location for the brand to debut its first-ever all-inclusive. W Punta Cana is turning the traditional model on its head – delivering luxury through detail-driven design, exceptional service, and story-worthy experiences that immerse guests in local culture through the lens of W Hotels. Guests will now find all the things they love about the brand – insider access, a dynamic atmosphere, the unmistakable sound, and vibrant design – now seamlessly woven into this new experience. This resort is a statement that all-inclusive can be anything but expected. It’s about creating stories worth sharing by living in the moment and embracing the now – in true W Hotels style.”

According to W Hotels, W Punta Cana has a unique ambiance that combines the “daring energy and distinct design of W Hotels, with the tranquil beauty of Punta Cana’s beaches.” Each guest room and suite begins at a spacious 700-square-feet, while details like a bathtub, king-size beds, sprawling ocean views and world-class amenities and services like 24/7 in-room dining and a signature maxi bar act as the cherry on top to an already glamorous experience. What’s more, 46 of the property’s suites feature swim-up pools — some even have full-sized private pools — further adding to guests’ paradisiacal bliss.

W Punta Cana features a communal layout designed to resemble a lively village with cozy pockets of privacy. The hotel has a 1,312-foot beachfront paired with W Hotel’s signature WET Deck, a 262-foot infinity pool that’s perfect for social gatherings. Additionally, the property boasts what it calls the “Chill Pool,” a pool with a swim-up bar and plenty of sunbeds for rest and relaxation.

"W Hotels has been breaking the mold since 1998 – and we’re just getting started. Now, we’re dialing up the bold and bringing our iconic edge to the Dominican Republic with the debut of W Punta Cana," said Brian King, president of Marriott International, Caribbean and Latin America. "Tucked between lush jungle and the electric blues of the Caribbean Sea, W Punta Cana is everything W Hotels is known for – daring design, unexpected moments, and a totally new spin on all-inclusive luxury. This isn’t just a resort – it’s a vibe, a movement, a new way to travel. I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve created and the incredible local community and partners who helped make it happen. We’re not following trends – we’re creating them."

Dining at W Punta Cana is described by the brand as “a boundary-pushing culinary journey,” designed to combine epic dining concepts with artfully crafted cocktails in the spirit of creating shared experiences for hotel guests. From Asian and Dominican flavors to classic Caribbean fare and beyond, travelers will find it all at the new property. Regarding stand-out dining experiences, W Punta Cana highlighted Trade Market — a food hall concept unique to the island with made-to-order dishes inspired by global street food — Scena — an elegant, chef-driven concept serving Dominican and Caribbean-inspired dishes — and Noodle Bar — a spot for Pan-Asian street food — as a few favorites.

On the mixology front, visitors can expect creative offerings that reflect the brand’s “beverage-first philosophy,” through the use of intriguing infusions and spirits. W Punta Cana’s signature venues are Taproom — a modern take on the traditional microbrewery and beer hall — and Taman Beach Club — the resort’s social hub. Two other standout spaces perfect for grabbing a drink include Living Room Bar and 33 1/3 Speakeasy, a bar serving Dominican-inspired cocktails and a swanky hideaway, respectively.

“At W Punta Cana, we set out to create a destination that’s as rich in cultural connection as it is in world-class amenities,” said Omar Rivera, general manager of W Punta Cana. “This is a space for the curious, the creative, and the culturally connected. Every corner of the resort invites guests to explore, engage, and experience the Dominican Republic in a way that’s intriguing, elevated, and often unexpected.”

W Punta Cana was designed by Zanobia Arquitectura, a Spain-based firm famous for its innovative style and commitment to sustainability. Throughout the property, guests will recognize nods to that cultural connection Rivera speaks of. From rich colors and textures that emulate the region’s colonial heritage and history to design choices inspired by Punta Cana’s natural materials and native fauna including larimar — the national stone of the Dominican Republic — and dragonflies and seashells.

Now that the brand has successfully launched its first adult all-inclusive property, it’s just getting started. “The opening of W Punta Cana marks a major milestone in W Hotels global brand evolution, expanding its robust portfolio beyond urban hotspots, escapes, and residences to debut in the adult all-inclusive segment,” said W Hotels. “This new chapter reinforces the brand’s commitment to delivering its signature bold design, vibrant energy, and distinct guest experiences in sought-after destinations worldwide. Following W Punta Cana, two additional W Hotels all-inclusive properties are set to open in Corasol Playa del Carmen and Costa Mujeres in 2028 and 2029, respectively, further solidifying the brand’s presence in this growing segment.”
