With an endless number of hotels and resorts to choose from scattered throughout a variety of beautiful destinations, it becomes hard to narrow in on a property to suggest to your destination wedding couples. Once you have a few weddings under your belt, you’ll be able to create your own go-to list, but if you’re newer to booking wedding groups, you might need a few suggestions to get you started.

Luckily, lots of travel advisors using VAX VacationAccess have experience booking destination weddings, and we recently polled this audience to get their expertise. We asked VAX users, “What is your favorite resort to book for destination wedding groups?” Read on to see their top picks.

Dreams Resorts & Spas

With a host of dreamy options throughout Mexico, the Caribbean and beyond, it’s no surprise the Dreams Resorts & Spas brand was listed multiple times by advisors. Part of Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection, these properties are created for couples and couples with children, and they are well-equipped to host destination weddings. Also, being a family-friendly brand means wedding couples can invite guests of all ages. Some of the specific properties mentioned in the poll include Dreams Riviera Cancun, Dreams Playa Mujeres and Dreams Aventuras.

Sandals Resorts

With properties all across the Caribbean in islands like Jamaica, Saint Lucia, Grenada and Barbados – just to name a few – Sandals Resorts hotels were made for two people in love. Romance is the name of the game here, and several advisors chose this option in the poll. All Sandals properties are adults-only, but Beaches Resorts (also part of the Sandals Resorts International umbrella) offers family-friendly options. In the VAX poll, the Jamaica properties had a special shoutout.

Secrets Resorts & Spas

Also falling under Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection, Secrets Resorts & Spas were another advisor favorite. These properties are adults-only and offer the most romantic vibes, in addition to Unlimited-Luxury®. Secrets properties are available in several destinations, including Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica, but Secrets Bahia Mita Surf & Spa Resort was mentioned in the poll.

These were the three most popular brands advisors called out, but other properties mentioned include Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya, Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana, Hilton Rose Hall (which is now Dreams Rose Hall) and the Royalton Hotels & Resorts brand.
