When it comes to choosing brands to work with, travel advisors need to feel supported by the company and educated on the products they are selling. In addition to building relationships with BDMs, advisors often learn best through taking specialist programs and obtaining firsthand knowledge through travel.

The Fiesta Americana Travelty Collection (FATC), operated by Posadas, allows advisors to conveniently learn about its hotels – and earn rewards – with the Fiesta Americana Travelty Collection Expert program.

“Partnership with travel advisors is essential to the FATC brand,” said George Hunter, VP of leisure sales at Posadas. “Travel advisors act as trusted intermediaries between clients and travel providers, offering personalized recommendations based on their expertise. By partnering with knowledgeable advisors, FATC ensures that potential guests receive accurate and enticing information about our properties, leading to increased bookings and client satisfaction. The program also fosters loyalty and ongoing collaboration, benefiting both the advisors and the resorts.”

By taking this program, advisors can gain the knowledge they need to sell these hotels, including facts on location, accommodations, amenities and target markets. “This enables advisors to effectively match clients with the perfect vacation experiences,” Hunter said. “Additionally, the program centralizes training and resources, making it easier for advisors to enhance their sales strategies and provide superior customer service.”

With several properties across Mexico and the Dominican Republic catering to travelers of all types, it’s important for advisors to be informed on the variety of offerings. Is the hotel beachfront or in a city center? Does the property host weddings? Is the resort family-friendly? These types of questions can be answered by taking the Fiesta Americana Travelty Collection Expert program.

The training and resources are all conveniently located in a centralized platform, and after completing the course, “Travelty Experts” unlock additional benefits starting with two complimentary nights at any Fiesta Americana property. From there, advisors can continue to earn free nights as their bookings add up along with cash rewards. They can also take advantage of travel agent rates to explore even more resorts.

“Visiting the resorts in person is beneficial for travel advisors because it allows them to experience the properties firsthand,” said Hunter. “This personal experience enables advisors to provide authentic and detailed recommendations to their clients, enhancing the client's trust and satisfaction. Firsthand visits help advisors understand the ambiance, service quality, and unique features of each resort, which cannot be fully conveyed through training materials alone.”

When logged into VAX VacationAccess, advisors can access this program by navigating to the Education tab and clicking “Supplier Training & Education.” On this page, click “Offsite Programs” to view the Fiesta Americana Travelty Collection Expert program, along with almost 60 other programs.
