Young travelers will no longer miss out on the mouthwatering wonder of regional cuisine thanks to Loews Hotels & Co’s new Adventurous Eaters programming. The latest addition to the brand’s “Loews Loves Families” initiative, the hotelier recently debuted a selection of refined, kid-friendly food and beverage options available at various restaurants throughout its portfolio.
In addition to traditional kid fare, children can now enjoy destination-inspired dishes with offerings like Creole Cuisine at Loews New Orleans Hotel — think beignets, pain perdu, gumbo, crawfish and more —, Latin Fare at Loews Miami Beach Hotel — fish tacos, guava and cheese French toast, empanadas and more — and a New York Nosh at Loews Regency New York Hotel — picture local favorites like Ess-A-Bagel.
When asked about the inspiration behind the new menus, Mark Weiss, senior vice president of food and beverage for Loews Hotels & Co, told The Compass the following: “Whether our guests check in for a vacation or choose to add on family time during business travel, we ensure that each hotel in the portfolio can give guests the tools they need to have a successful trip with children, no matter their age.”

“We saw an opportunity with our Adventurous Eaters program after seeing that so many dining outlets around the country were still hyper-focused on traditional buttered pasta, chicken fingers, nachos and dishes lacking nutritional value. We felt we could allow children to expand their palates and explore destinations through regional cuisine, without sacrificing the fun in dining,” he said.
While Adventurous Eaters programming is currently available at the three properties mentioned above — Loews Miami Beach Hotel, Loews Regency New York Hotel and Loews New Orleans Hotel —, the brand is working to expand the offering to additional hotels and destinations throughout 2024.
Helping Loews make this delicious endeavor a reality are Little Spoon and Hello Bello, the largest direct-to-consumer food brand in the U.S. and Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard’s plant-based baby product brand, respectively.

Above all, Weiss wants advisors to know Loews Hotels & Co celebrates families and these changes were made with them in mind. “It’s important for travel advisors to know that the Adventurous Eaters menu is just one of the many offerings that appeal to discerning family travelers,” he said. “We’ve also partnered with Little Spoon to offer two of their most popular pureed meals at restaurants and on in-room dining menus across Loews Hotels & Cos portfolio.”
“We also recently introduced a partnership with Hello Bello, the premium plant-based baby brand, co-founded by celebrity parents Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard,” said Weiss. “We now offer complimentary Hello Bellow baby and toddler amenity kits to all families. We have more exciting partnerships and plans in the works for this year, so stay tuned for more news to come.”
