About the Power Prompt Series
Each month, I’ll share a new “Power Prompt” designed to help travel advisors harness the power of AI — without the tech overwhelm.
These bite-sized guides turn AI into a friendly creative partner, showing you how to use simple, strategic prompts to grow your business, save time and spark inspiration.
Whether you’re crafting social media content, refining client communication or uncovering travel trends, each Power Prompt makes AI fun, approachable and human. Think of it as your monthly master key to working smarter — not harder — with the help of smart tech.
The StorySeller Prompt
Facts tell, but stories sell.
Clients don’t buy itineraries — they buy how a trip makes them feel. Yet many advisors struggle to put emotion into words. That’s where this month’s Power Prompt comes in.
With a few well-placed details and the right tone, you can use AI to turn a standard trip outline into a cinematic, heartfelt travel story that captures the imagination — and moves clients to book.
The Prompt
“Act as an expert, experienced travel copywriter and storyteller. Write a 3-paragraph narrative that paints a vivid, emotional picture of a [type of trip — honeymoon in Bora Bora, family safari in Kenya, wine escape in Tuscany, etc.].
Capture what the traveler sees, feels, hears and tastes — focus on sensory and emotional detail.
Paragraph 1: Hook the reader with a moment of awe or anticipation.
Paragraph 2: Immerse them in the experience — describe movement, texture, atmosphere and emotion.
Paragraph 3: End with a warm, inspiring invitation to make this story their own (a subtle call to action).
Use a natural, conversational tone that feels personal, not corporate. Avoid clichés. Keep sentences fluid and human — like a travel advisor speaking from experience.”
Why This Power Prompt Works
✅ Builds emotion: It teaches AI to write with feeling, not just facts.
✅ Drives desire: Sensory detail transforms interest into urgency.
✅ Elevates your brand: Storytelling sets advisors apart from online booking sites.
✅ Sells subtly: Ends with an invitation, not a hard pitch.
Tips
You can also use a URL in place of [type of trip — honeymoon in Bora Bora, family safari in Kenya, wine escape in Tuscany, etc.]
Follow-Up Power Move
Once your story is written, take it one step further:
“Now repurpose this story into 3 short captions for Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn — each one using a different tone (romantic, inspiring, informative) while keeping the emotion consistent.”
Or for website use:
“Turn this story into a short paragraph for my travel website’s destination page, maintaining the same emotional feel but adding credibility and expertise.”
