Puerto Vallarta’s neighboring areas offer a wealth of historic, cultural and eco-friendly experiences that capture the essence of Mexico and can be sampled in well-organized day-trips from the city. Stay Safe on Our Beautiful Beaches

Public beaches are open; however, preventative measures are in place. Visitors are asked to avoid crowds, not stay on the beach for more than four hours and a flag system has been implemented to indicate beach space availability. If the beach is crowded, a red flag will be used indicating that it is closed to additional people. A green flag indicates that there is occupancy available on the beach. Tourists are asked not to travel in large groups, to stay separated by 5 meters between their sunbathing location and the nearest person, not to share objects with other people or groups and use one towel per person. Face masks, antibacterial gel, and disinfectants are recommended to clean belongings, in case you rent an umbrella, chairs or tables for your stay on the beach. These items need to be cleaned in your presence before using them. Elements of Civil Protection and Firefighters, along with municipal police, are monitoring that coronavirus measures are respected.
