Colorful Decor
If there’s one thing Vegas does better than almost anywhere else, it’s creating immersive worlds for travelers to explore. This Chinese New Year will be no different as various resorts and casinos work to create festive displays using elaborate decor. Here are just a few vibrant displays travelers can look forward to.
Bellagio Resort & Casino
Now through Saturday, March 4, 2023, travelers can celebrate Asian culture when they visit the Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens’ Lunar New Year display. Designed by Ed Libby in collaboration with the resort’s horticulture team, the collection features ‘meaningful creations’ designed to honor the Black Water Rabbit, a symbol associated with deep wisdom and a connection to the earth. Additionally, the space boasts a 17-foot-tall statute of Caishen (the Chinese god of wealth), a money tree made from literal gold and a traditional tea house.
Caesars Entertainment
Symbols of luck and prosperity such as firecrackers, hanging lanterns, banners and colorful floral arrangements will flood the lobbies of several Caesars Entertainment resorts now through early January. And, at The Forum Shops, visitors can marvel in awe at a 22-foot-long LED dragon display featuring over 30,000 tiny red and amber lights.
The Venetian Resort Las Vegas
Guests of The Venetian Resort will find themselves dwarfed by a massive 16-foot rabbit when they stop to admire the property’s beautiful waterfall atrium and gardens, a space that was totally transformed by the resort’s floral and horticulture team in tandem with a group of artisans and a feng shui master. Additionally, the Grand Canal Shoppes will celebrate the Year of the Rabbit with complimentary entertainment and festive photo ops.
Downtown Las Vegas
No matter where they’re staying, travelers can get in on the action from January 26 through 28 when they attend Chinese New Year in the Desert™, downtown Las Vegas’ annual celebration and parade. Featuring meticulously decorated floats, elaborate costumes, traditional dance performances, a kickoff feast and more, this party is one that’s not to be missed.

Delicious Cuisine
As one of the most notable foodie capitals in the world, many resorts and casinos are showing their love for Chinese New Year and Asian heritage in general through the universal language we all speak: food. Travelers can expect to find tons of unique and scrumptious culinary offerings when they visit the destination now through early February.
