The program is designed as a one-hour introductory clinic guided by an instructor at the nearby Marina Vallarta Golf Course. Visitors can opt for one standalone session or participate in multiple sessions throughout their stay to continue developing skills.
“My First Golf Experience” is $180 per child ages six to 15 years old. It includes the one-hour golf clinic, along with access to the Golf Course at Marina Vallarta, all the necessary golf equipment and a welcome kit with a backpack, t-shirt and hat.
“Children will learn basic techniques such as grip, stance, and swing, along with coordination and balance,” Angarita said. “Just as importantly, the experience emphasizes sportsmanship and having fun, ensuring that every child leaves feeling encouraged and accomplished, regardless of skill level.”
Angarita said the resort has been known for its family-friendly offerings and that this program is a natural fit. “In addition to the golf experience, children can enjoy the Kids’ Club, which features supervised activities like arts and crafts, mini mariachi sessions, sandcastle building, and more,” he said.
