If you have a soft spot for animals and a taste for wild adventures, combine those two loves at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, a 355-acre animal theme park. Perfect for travelers of all ages, Busch Gardens features two water slides, 10 rollercoasters and over 200 species of animals in its highly accredited zoo. From rhinos, sloths and cheetahs to kangaroos, flamingos and antelopes, there’s plenty of creatures to observe, especially with the orangutans’ newest addition, baby Stella, making her recent debut.

The adorable Bornean orangutan was spotted settling into her habitat this past week along with her mother, Luna. Certainly, a highly anticipated return for the father, Madju! Stella and the rest of her family can be found in Jungala at Busch Gardens, located in a luscious enclosure reminiscent of the tropical island rain forests, lowland swamps and Borneo mountains they are typically associated with out in the wild.

Don’t forget to look up into the trees to find these three because while orangutans can walk upright for short distances, they travel more effectively by brachiating, or swinging from branch to branch with their arms.

Don’t have time to visit baby Stella and the rest of the animals right now? No worries! Busch Gardens has plenty of events all year long, such as Red, White & Brews, Halloween Harvest and Christmas Town, that might serve as the perfect excuse to take a trip out to Tampa Bay and visit these majestic creatures.
