Looking for a laidback all-inclusive resort for young adults in Cancun, Mexico? Hyatt Vivid Grand Island has you covered. The modern high-rise resort is located only a short 15-minute ride from the airport, has 400 suites and offers a casual atmosphere for global-minded adult travelers.

This was the first resort to debut in Hyatt's Inclusive Collection’s Hyatt Vivid brand category. Since then, Hyatt Vivid Playa del Carmen has opened, and Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana is coming soon.

All-Inclusive Offerings

Guests staying at Hyatt Vivid Grand Island can indulge in several dining options without needing reservations. The property features a buffet, five à la carte restaurants, a snack area by the main pool and, of course, a café to handle all those caffeine needs. There is also a food truck called Vivid Bites, serving up Mexican food, hamburgers, salads and more. Six bars, ranging from swim-up to sunset, are available for guests to enjoy as well.

For all the wellness-conscious travelers, the resort has a fitness center boasting beautiful views of the surrounding area, but in addition to workout opportunities, there are engaging activities available such as classes to make pottery, bracelets, dream catchers and macrame.

The all-inclusive offerings don’t stop when guests get to their rooms. Here they’ll find a fully stocked mini-bar, room service and complimentary Wi-Fi — not to mention stunning views of the bay or golf course.

Those looking to take their stay up a notch can choose to book a Vantage Club accommodation, which includes elevated service and access to various VIP areas around the resort, like the rooftop pool and Vantage Club lounge. All the rooms here are suites, but guests can opt to book one of the 16 spacious Master Suites or the one Vivid Presidential Suite (with a plunge pool!) if they really want to treat themselves.

Unique Features

Hyatt Vivid Grand Island is filled with features that make it unique and different from other adults-only resorts in the area. Looking for the perfect spot to get those Instagramable golden hour pics? The Sunset bar is the place to be, as it’s ideally situated towards the bay and mangroves.

As mentioned earlier, this hotel not only has a rooftop pool, but the longest rooftop pool in all of Cancun at 295 feet long. And while this property is not directly on the beach, all guests have access to Ennea Beach Club, located on Playa Delfines (a 10-minute shuttle ride from the hotel). This area has everything visitors need — a restaurant with a bar, beachside snacks, Bali beds, loungers and even a pool area.
