Dreaming of the day someone “steals you for a sec?” Embark on a journey of your own with a stay at one of these incredible properties featured on season 20 of ABC’s “The Bachelorette.” And, just for funsies, we’ll recap all the drama from Charity’s adventure to find love along the way.
This one’s for you, Bachelor Nation.
Mission Pacific Hotel and The Seabird Resort in Oceanside, CA
In sunny Oceanside, California, Charity and her crew of “Kens” took to the beach for some Barbie-themed fun. Towering palm trees and idyllic harbor views set the stage as the men — outfitted in their finest Ken-inspired couture — attempted to serenade the Bachelorette with their unique renditions of “Girls Just Want to Have Fun.” While some performances hit the mark more than others — with Denim Ken (aka Sean) snagging the win —, one aspect of Charity’s time in Oceanside certainly did not disappoint: the digs.
Sister resorts owned and operated by Hyatt, Mission Pacific Hotel and The Seabird Resort treated Charity and the guys to gorgeous waterfront scenery and topnotch amenities. And if the impressive footage of The Mission Pacific Hotel and The Seabird Resort weren’t enough to convince viewers to try the properties for themselves, The Mission Pacific Hotel’s award-winning status might seal the deal as the hotel was rated the #1 hotel in San Diego.
Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, WA
Called “absolutely breathtaking” by the Bachelorette herself, Charity and the crew’s time in Stevenson, Washington was something to remember with a bungee jumping one-on-one, a group date with an appearance from the local Girl Scouts, scenes from the Stevenson Fruit Festival and … Bigfoot? That’s right, Jesse Palmer is a Bigfoot truther and I’m here for it. And you know what else I’m here for? Beautiful accommodations.
Set against a backdrop of cedar trees and Douglas firs, Skamania Lodge is exactly what comes to mind when one pictures the Pacific Northwest. The landscape is simply incredible, and Skamania Lodge is the perfect place to enjoy it with its expansive collection of curated itineraries which include onsite and offsite activities. When it comes time for some shut-eye, guests can become one with the forest with a stay in their very own luxury tree house, just like Charity did in episode four.
The Royal Sonesta in New Orleans, LA
Historic, fun and delicious, is there a better place to get swept off your feet than New Orleans? Charity kicked off her time in the Big Easy with a one-on-one date with Joey who joined her on a romantic horse-drawn carriage ride. The pair danced, sang and dined along the bustling streets of NOLA, and Joey even said he was, “falling in love.” And the one-on-one action didn’t stop there, later, Charity and Dotun embarked on what may go down in history as one of the most questionable dates the franchise has ever seen: a 10K. That’s right, the duo crossed the finish line of the Crescent City Classic Run together, and I must admit, they looked darn good while doing so.
After such a physical day, I’m sure Charity was excited to return to The Royal Sonesta, a cozy little spot nestled in the heart of the action on Bourbon Street. Literal footsteps from some of the city’s most beloved attractions, this hotel could not be more convenient. Inside, viewers caught a glimpse of the property's comfortable rooms, snazzy courtyard and charming balcony views. In addition to what’s guaranteed to be a great stay, The Royal Sonesta is known for its fine dining, allowing visitors to sink their teeth into that famous Southern fare.
The Pearl South Pacific Resort in Fiji
The place where Charity’s whirlwind love story came to an end, Fiji was a wild ride. And while I won’t divulge this season’s “winner,” we can look at the days that led to the dramatic proposal. Charity and her remaining men arrived on the island in style with service from Fiji Airways, it was fantasy suite week, and the pressure was on. Unfortunately for Charity, after a dreamy one-on-one date, Xavier dropped a bomb during dinner — he cheated in a previous relationship and couldn’t guarantee it wouldn’t happen again, yikes. Suffice it to say, he did not get an overnight date. Luckily, the rest of fantasy suite week was smooth sailing with Charity and Joey going on an intrepid ATV adventure and Charity and Dotun getting an entire island to themselves. Oh, and, after being eliminated the week before, Aaron came back too, and Charity wasn’t mad about it.
Acting as the home base for all the excitement was The Pearl South Pacific Resort. An oasis all its own, this impressive property is set along one of Fiji’s longest beaches offering guests Insta-worthy views of the surrounding turquoise waters and lush greenery. In addition to its undeniable beauty, something that sets The Pearl apart from other island escapes is its fantastic onsite eatery — which works with internationally acclaimed chefs to create rotating menus — and luxurious spa.
