Season 16 of The Bachelorette is a bit different than seasons past but in 2020, what else can you expect?
Instead of shacking up at the famed Bachelor mansion in Agoura Hills, California, Clare’s season of The Bachelorette was filmed exclusively at La Quinta Resort & Club in Palm Springs, California. Guess what? That means regular people like you and me can literally live like the Bachelorette and her men and stay there!
The camera-ready resort was chosen as the filming location for this season not just because it’s beautiful. It’s also a large, sprawling resort that encompasses 45 acres with 620 Spanish-style casitas and 98 1-, 2- or 3-bedroom villas. This made it easy for the production of the show to keep the contestants, host and crew safe and spread out, though there were no other guests at the resort when the show was filmed.
La Quinta Resort & Spa has a lot going for it besides its new place in Bachelor history. The resort has five world-class golf courses: Mountain Course and Dunes Course at La Quinta Resort, and The Stadium Course, Greg Norman Course and Nicklaus Tournament Course at PGA West (a golf resort within La Quinta).
The resort also has three onsite restaurants, a beautiful spa, 41 pools (yes, 41!), 12 onsite boutiques and a salon. It’s also a dog-friendly resort, which was perfect for Clare’s two pups, who could roam around the resort’s 45 acres of open grounds, hike on a dog-friendly trail or hang out on the private walled patio of Clare’s dog-friendly casita.
