The Vibe

The end of February was the perfect time to get out of Ohio’s winter weather and enjoy the sun and fun of the Celebrity Reflection! The ship boasts a classy, upscale feel. The live music, great service and the delicious food stand out.

How I Felt

As most people I know, I work a lot, sleep some and definitely do not get to relax much. While on the ship, there are many areas that do allow for the much-needed relaxation, and it was a nice change of pace. The Library was a favorite!

I always had the fantastic event and dining options at my fingertips, which takes away some anxiety. The Celebrity app gives guests most of the information needed, and the customer service teams are helpful for any changes to reservations. It was a very low stress type of travel.

The Digs

The ocean view balcony cabin had more space than anticipated; the sliding glass door not only allowed for amazing views but led to that wonderful balcony which is always a plus.

The room had a classic feel, had only two outlets and was comfortable and spacious. I had my HUGE suitcase (as I’m a habitual overpacker) and it fit under the bed and out of the way. Space and storage were a non-issue for me.

The Agenda

During my time on the Celebrity Reflection, I enjoyed specialty dining at some fantastic restaurants and had great one-on-one times with advisors on deck 15 in the alcoves while we got some sun. And I took advantage of the great locations where the ship docked with fun excursions.

As I was on the ship with a conference, our schedule contained meetings, classes and dinner meetings which were all enjoyable due to the great amenities and surroundings.

The Eats

For breakfast, the buffet was the way to go. I never tried the room service, so I can’t give feedback there. For dinners, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and service in the main dining room. And they even provided entertainment in the main dining room one of the evenings.

All of the specialty dining restaurants were phenomenal. My personal favorite was “Murano,” the French restaurant on board. The lobster tail station allowed guests to see the tails being cooked tableside. The service was impeccable!

Why I Would Go Back

The amazing service is the number one reason I would sail on the Celebrity Reflection again.
