Happy Travel Advisor Appreciation Month! At VAX VacationAccess, our love and admiration for travel advisors burns brightly 365 days a year, but this May, we wanted to take the time to tell you how grateful we are for you, the talented travel professionals who make the work we do possible each and every day. So, cheers to you, advisors, and thank you for trusting VAX to help make travelers’ vacation dreams come true.

“We love travel advisors because we see how vital they are to the travel industry. They work hard, keep current on the latest travel news and care about their clients like we do! I see travel advisors go above and beyond for their clients and colleagues. And did I mention how KIND so many advisors are? I don’t know of another industry where your 'competition' is so helpful to each other! It’s an honor to work with so many great travel professionals in my role as Brand Ambassador.” Vonda Keeler, brand ambassador for VAX VacationAccess

“VAX loves travel advisors because they care! Travel advisors take amazing care of their clients and truly go above and beyond to ensure their vacation dreams become reality.” Joe Shomperlen, vice president of business development for Trisept Solutions

“Every year we talk about why we love travel advisors, and I always have a hard time narrowing it down, because there are so many amazing things about this community. This year, the community is what I want to highlight – there is collaboration, support and yet still some competition among these unique professionals. I love that it is a group of small business owners trying to help each other be successful and sharing strategies that have worked for them and sharing feedback with us on what we need to provide to help propel their success.” Sarah Kneisler, director for VAX VacationAccess.

“Being a travel advisor comes with a lot of exciting opportunities, but there are also a lot of challenges. There isn’t really a typical day in an advisor’s world because anything can happen. Flight delays, tropical storms, unexpected sicknesses … anything can cause a trip to go awry, and the first person a traveler usually calls is their travel advisor. I appreciate advisors for dealing with all sorts of chaos in order to ensure their clients have memorable vacations.” Codie Liermann, managing editor for VAX VacationAccess

“I appreciate travel advisors for their dedication to turning dreams into reality. With tireless effort, they ensure their client’s trips are seamless and unforgettable.” Melissa Haskin, business development manager for VAX VacationAccess

“Travel advisors provide their clients with so much, both professionally and personally. Whether they’re ensuring the logistics of a vacation go smoothly, recommending hidden gems, arranging for personalized welcome amenities or just offering a supportive shoulder for their travelers to lean on, professional advisors are invaluable. I applaud their efforts and appreciate them being the backbone of this exciting industry!” Carey Driscoll, business development manager for VAX VacationAccess

“I appreciate how hard-working and dedicated travel advisors are, they know how to get the job done. But I also really appreciate how much fun and energy they bring to make this industry such a fun place to work.” Kati Kohler, marketing supervisor for VAX VacationAccess

“Shout-out to all the amazing travel advisors who make this industry special and turn their clients’ travel dreams into a reality. I love learning from you all and sharing your stories on The Compass, keep up the great work!” Jenna Buege, senior editor for VAX VacationAccess

I appreciate all the effort agents put in finding the perfect product for the right family/couple. We understand it is a lot of work and can't thank them enough when they choose our products, and creating value to all the chain. They are trully the backbone (and the heart) of our industry!!
