Advisors can introduce their travelers to the wonderful world of river cruising when they register for AmaAcademy, AmaWaterways’ advisor education platform accessible through the brand’s Travel Advisor Portal. A multi-course training program, AmaAcademy educates advisors on the brand and provides them with helpful tips and tricks to sell AmaWaterways river cruises to both individual travelers and groups. Additionally, the Travel Advisor Portal includes an online booking engine and a robust suite of marketing collateral for advisors to share with their clients.

Participants begin their journey with RCU by working towards their Bachelor’s Degree which, upon completion, will earn them a “Bachelors of Adventure” issued by RCU. Viking
After revamping its advisor education program, Viking recently launched the Viking Travel Advisor Academy. The new program consists of four modules — Viking Fundamentals, Rivers, Oceans and Expeditions — that advisors can work to complete to become a Viking Certified Expert.
Upon completing their training, advisors will receive numerous perks including a certificate acknowledging their completion of the academy and their status as a Viking Certified Expert, a digital Viking Certified Expert badge, eligibility for special cruise rates and FAM sailings, and $100 per booking incentive on a Viking reloadable VISA for every confirmed booking within 30 days of successfully completing the four courses.
Virgin Voyages
After registering as a First Mate, advisors have access to Seacademy, Virgin Voyages’ award-winning online learning platform. Seacademy is a four-tier system — Violet, Scarlet, Silver and Gold — that equips advisors with the info they need to sell Virgin Voyages’ cruises while earning valuable rewards in the process.
Completion of each Seacademy tier earns participants a “knot” (a visual representation of their knowledge of Virgin Voyages) in addition to three CLIA credits.
