New Orleans Museum of Art
After seven years together, Glee and The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story actor, Darren Criss tied the knot with director-producer and musician Mia Swier in the sculpture garden of the New Orleans Museum of Art. Criss told Vogue their goal was “to take traditions and turn them on their heads with our own flair.” Their wedding celebration was anything but traditional from the beginning; their four day wedding celebration began on Valentine’s Day. It makes sense that this musical match made in heaven said their vows in the oldest fine arts institution in New Orleans.
Degas House
Just as you’d expect, Top Chef Season 15 runner-up Adrienne Cheatham had to taste-test her wedding day food to ensure it was up to her standards. Cheatham married her fiancé Stephen Bailey on St. Patrick’s Day at the Degas House in New Orleans. The Degas House Museum is all about Southern hospitality, as Cheatham is all about Southern cuisine. It serves as a bed and breakfast and features a French Quarter-style courtyard with Victorian parlors for an authentic and unique approach to wedding ceremonies and receptions.
