New to VAX VacationAccess? Or maybe you’ve been here awhile but haven’t realized everything the platform has to offer. Either way, the following tips should be helpful. VAX exists to enable travel advisors to thrive, and these resources help advisors do just that. Brand Ambassador Vonda revealed some of these tools during an educational workshop at Ascend. If you weren't able to make the session, read on to learn how to “make more green” with VAX.
A Travel Advisor’s True North
The Compass tab, located on the far right of VAX’s main navigation bar, is a place for advisors to consume content created just for them. The content on The Compass on VAX ranges from business insights to firsthand travel experience, and everything in between. Advisors can use this content to grow their business, as the articles are filled with advice from pros. The “I Stayed There” section is a collection of articles reviewing different cruise lines and hotels. These can be used to gain firsthand knowledge and share with clients.
There is also an endless amount of travel inspiration, ideal for sharing with clients to inspire trips. And, with one click sharing buttons at the top right-hand corner of each article, advisors can easily share to social media or in an email. When logged into VAX, you will find that your agency logo and information are listed on the right-hand side of each article, and when you share the article with clients, the information is shared right along with it, keeping your brand top of mind as they’re reading. Then, when they’re ready to book a vacation, they’ll be calling you to do it.
Destination Guides
Becoming familiar with destinations you haven’t had a chance to visit has never been easier thanks to enhanced destination content on VAX VacationAccess. Advisors can head to the Destinations dropdown on VAX and choose any destination. Thanks to Arrival Guides, most pages now have a guide available, and advisors can download this and share it with clients, helping to position themselves as a destination expert.
Tip: while you can send this guide straight to clients, consider sending it to yourself first and then adding it to their final documents. The information looks great on mobile devices, so they can browse the content before and during a trip.
Travel Inspiration for Clients
In a rut when it comes to marketing? Head to the Travel Inspo Tool Kit, located under the Resources tab. Shareable images, memes, reels and more await. There’s also a section with compiled articles from The Compass. Advisors can use this content to engage with current clients as well as attract new ones.
Tip: Be sure to check back often as this page is regularly updated with new content to choose from.
Educational Opportunities
Supplier Training & Education also lives under the Resources tab on VAX. Here advisors can register for live webinars, watch recordings and immerse themselves in brand specialist programs. There are more than 60 Immersion and Offsite Programs available to choose from.
