Travelers can achieve rock star status with the grand opening of Tampa’s Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, the world’s first-ever guitar shaped hotel and casino, on October 24, 2019. Stretching 450 feet into the South Florida sky, the debut of this epic new resort and landmark is part of a $2.2 billion expansion project for both Hard Rock Florida locations.

“The guitar tower will attract casino players and other visitors from throughout the country and around the world,” said Hard Rock International Chairman and Seminole Gaming CEO Jim Allen. “It will put South Florida on the map as a world-class gaming destination and it will have a huge economic impact on Florida. The gaming industry will never be the same.”

The guitar tower is home to 638 luxurious oversized guestrooms and suites and is designed to resemble back-to-back guitars with six guitar strings on each side. In addition to the guitar tower, the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood also has a new seven-story guestroom tower near the property’s south side pool that features 168 guestrooms and luxurious swim-up suites.

All of this is in addition to the resort’s previously existing 465 guestrooms and suites before the remodel, bringing the total number of rooms to 1,271 guest rooms and suites.
